Our theme, “Putting Your Best Self Forward” sets the tone for the event. Dive into mindset strategies with an expert coach, learn how to strike the perfect pose with a professional photographer, maximise your LinkedIn profile’s impact with tips from a LinkedIn representative, and sharpen your sales skills with guidance from a seasoned business coach.
As the day wraps up, we’ll shift gears to highlight the standout achievements of Ireland’s top virtual assistants. Join us for what is set to be an epic day for this industry.
Judging is now underway for all 2023 categories, but in the meantime, we are thrilled to announce the finalists for the SVAI Awards 2023.
Karen McCarthy is the founder of The Simplified Social Media, and her signature program Online Business Accelerator (OBA). She helps service businesses leverage social media to get clients. She teaches marketing and content strategy that allows service businesses to get the results they want organically.
Renske, a Creative Project & Operations Manager and co-founder of verða Intentional Life Design, also known as the Productivity Witch, uses her magic to help her clients connect the dots and find solutions to their business-related problems.
Sinéad Glennon is the Founder of TranScribe, a multi award-winning outsourced typing platform for Irish legal, medical and business professionals. Prior to founding TranScribe, Sinéad forged a successful career in the insurance industry followed by strategic planning and management roles in banking and law,.
The SVAI Awards welcome anyone who provides virtual services in administrative, creative, or technical areas. Whether you are in your first twelve months of business or are an established business owner, this event is for you!
The title of “Virtual Assistant” covers a wide range of service providers, including those skilled in executive support, bookkeeping, graphic design, social media management, copywriting, event management, and more.
This event recognises and celebrates the contributions of all these professionals who offer valuable virtual assistance.
Lisa O'Carroll is a dedicated Life and Business Mindset Coach with a wealth of experience in the corporate realm of financial services. Lisa's mission is to empower and guide busy, ambitious professionals towards harnessing their inner strengths and driving forces.
Chani is one of Cork’s freshest & most sought after lifestyle photographers. As ‘Captures by Chani’ she has worked with some of the country’s most eminent female entrepreneurs and publications including TV personality The Yoga Tree’s Hazel Buckley, Chupi Sweetman and RSVP magazine.
John leads customer success for LinkedIn across Europe, drawing from over a decade of experience in the tech industry. He's an expert on leveraging LinkedIn's ecosystem to maximise business value and also collaborates with notable non-profits, using his platform expertise to aid their objectives.
Sarah Leather is a Business & Mindset Mentor who helps female business owners to stop under-earning & over-giving for good! Known as ‘The Queen of Simplicity’ as she is obsessed with helping women to create clients and money by being outrageously themselves in the simplest way possible.
Ellie Clogher is a co-founder of SVAI and CEO of Rulu Virtual. After setting up and running two successful businesses, Ellie now works with other ambitious Online Service Providers, coaching them to stand in their power, claim authority and build bigger, in order to elevate their businesses & reach the next level.
Catherine Tobin is a co-founder of SVAI and Creative Director of Clic Create, an Irish creative agency. With over 20 years experience in business, ten of these as an online entrepreneur, she’s passionate about empowering brands to share their value with the world and realise their professional and personal goals.
Mindset Mastery: Begin the day with an activation session from mindset coach Lisa O’Carroll. We will dive deep into strategies and mental frameworks that can elevate your everyday approach to challenges and successes alike.
Picture-Perfect Posing: Skilled photographer, Chani Anderson, will be sharing invaluable tips on posing and how to use brand imagery to convey your professional brand. Whether it’s for a professional headshot or a candid behind-the-scenes snap, learn the techniques that make a difference.
LinkedIn and Personal Branding: Ever wondered how to make the most of LinkedIn as a tool for personal branding? John McGrath, customer success lead for LinkedIn UK and Ireland, will be shedding light on crafting a profile that stands out and leverages the platform’s potential to the fullest.
Sassy Sales: Wrapping up our speaker sessions is business coach and mentor, Sarah Leather who will delve into a topic that often makes us cringe – Sales. Get ready for a masterclass from someone someone who’s mastered the blend of genuine self-presentation and effective selling strategies.
Sip and Socialise: Following a busy day of learning and development, we will ease into the evening with a refreshing drinks reception from 7pm at the Bookshelf Elysian. It will be a great opportunity to connect, share experiences from the day, and set the mood for the festivities ahead.
Gourmet Delights: From 7.30pm, prepare to indulge in a specially curated three-course meal. Each dish, crafted with the finest ingredients and promises to be a tantalising treat for your taste buds.
Highlighting Excellence: As the plates are cleared and glasses refilled, we transition into the heart of the evening – the awards presentation. Here, we celebrate the exceptional contributions and achievements of Ireland’s finest virtual assistants. Each award is a testament to dedication, innovation, and excellence in the industry.
Wrap Up: Finally, with the awards presented and all professional duties completed, it will be time relax and really let our hair down. The only agenda for the rest of the night is to have fun and deepen those important connections with the coolest community of professionals around!
Our daytime event will be held on the ground floor, Unit 3, of the Elysian building right next to Cork City Hall.
For our evening celebrations, we will be moving to the unit next door to The Bookshelf Elysian restaurant, also on the ground-floor.
Parking is available in the City Hall car park – Q-Park and bus stops for most bus routes are within two minutes walking distance.
